Bushings are elements that insulate metal parts from the conductors, also they act as a mechanical support for the conductors. Bushing failure can lead to significant damages to power system elements. 

Power View Bushing Working Group participates in researching bushings testing and monitoring techniques also provides technical guidance. Power View Bushing Working Group also shares test results and new discoveries between the members.
