Power View Motor Working Group
Testing, Monitoring, Maintenance, Research, Technical Guidance
Electrical Motors are the biggest electrical energy consumptions of the power system. If the electrical motors are in a bad condition, it can decrease its power efficiency, increase mechanical damages that can lead to shutdown of the motor, halting of the process in which the motor is integrated in.
The Power View Motor Working Group takes part in researching monitoring and testing methods, maintenance practices and control techniques. The Power View Motor Working Group share experience and expertise, test and research results, new technologies and provide technical guidance and support.
The Power View Motor Working Group put their knowledge and experience in the field of insulation testing, leakage current testing and monitoring, winding resistance testing, partial discharge testing. The most significant contribution of this group is in the field of motor condition monitoring.
- Continuous Leakage Current Monitoring
