UHVDC Converters are power electronics devices that are used in HVDC grids. The advances in Power Electronics made HVDC possible. HVDC grids are more and more popular, so there is more need of monitoring and testing methods, control technologies and new semiconductors.  

Power View UHVDC Converter Working group participates in researching UHVDC testing and monitoring techniques, implementing new control technologies, researching semiconductors technologies, providing technical guidance and support, also sharing test and research results.
